Our Float & Board Type Level Indicators offer an exceptionally reliable, completely unpowered mechanical answer for tracking fluid volumes inside large bulk storage tanks, overhead water towers, and effluent sumps. The operational design utilizes a wide-surface, heavy-gauge float resting on the liquid, connected via an ultra-flexible stainless steel wire rope running over low-friction pulleys to an external pointer board.

As the tank liquid level changes, the external weighted pointer rides smoothly across a clearly graduated scale board, moving downward as the tank fills and upward as it empties. This simple, highly effective layout provides clear, long-distance volumetric status checks from ground level, eliminating the need for technicians to scale high tank tops for routine inspections.
